Hakone Trip Part 2
Share
This time, I will introduce the hotel in Hakone where we stayed.
Setsugekka Bettei Suiun.
This hotel is about a 3-minute walk from Gora Station.
It is a large room with a private open-air bath.
Of course, it is a hot spring.
The room we stayed in had the best open-air bath with a view of the greenery from the cypress bathtub.
The soft and warm hot spring is a little hot, but once you get used to it, it feels great.
It was a great hotel where you can spend a quiet time while feeling the vastness of nature.
Of course, the food is delicious too.
As I wrote last time, you can eat Wagyu beef here too.
Here, it is sukiyaki, not steak.
Sukiyaki is a winter luxury in Japan.
Sukiyaki made with Japanese black beef is the best, so if you come to Japan, I recommend you try it.
The sweetness of Wagyu beef fat and the deliciousness of the meat.
Sukiyaki is made by grilling and simmering it in a sweet soy sauce.
The sweet and salty taste and Wagyu beef are the best combination.
And then you eat it with raw egg.
I don't think this way of eating is very common in other countries.
People from overseas might be reluctant to eat raw eggs. Haha
But when you eat sukiyaki, please put a raw egg on it.
These two make the best pair. Haha
Your mouth will be filled with happiness.
And Hakone is about 2 hours from Tokyo by Romancecar.
I recommend staying in Hakone for 2 days during your trip to Tokyo.
Hakone is a very precious city where you can enjoy the nature and hot springs of both cutting-edge Tokyo and the closest place to Tokyo.
I think it will be a special memory for travelers too.
When I'm tired of work, I come to Hakone for a break. Haha
Hakone is the best place to rest because it has delicious food, nature, and hot springs.
There is an art museum nearby, but it was boring.
I guess I'm not very cultured. Haha
If you come to Japan, I recommend you to travel to both Tokyo and Hakone.
If you get bored of Tokyo, go to Hakone. Haha

To STEPHEN.
Thank you! With the best view and the open-air bath, you can enjoy the best healing! It will heal your mind and body! And if possible, please try a little raw egg. Haha It must be delicious, but raw eggs are not eaten very often around the world. Haha
Great blog post. That bath and view look like a heavenly pairing. The food also looks amazing, I will of course try it, but I will not place the raw egg on top, haha!
