In recent years, the production of extra-thick raw hides has been decreasing, but we were able to realize a thick product by partnering with HIMEJI LEATHER, which is famous for producing leather.
Just like jeans, you can use it for a long time and enjoy the change over time, making it a genuine original leather belt that goes well with jeans.
Until now, all belts (VBLT02, 03, 04) were finished only with "Taiko tanning," which takes advantage of the texture of the raw leather.
The VBLT05 belt this time is tanned with vegetable tannins over a long period of time in the pit layer, allowing the chemicals to penetrate firmly into the "pit tanning" (originating from pretreatment in a subdivided pit-like water tank). Dry in the sun.
After it is completely dry, each color is dyed with Tyco (the same process as before is entered here) and the top is dyed after drying.
Finally, the OIL process is performed to impregnate the leather with OIL, and the belt is pressed to adjust the luster.
It has become a belt that allows you to enjoy a different texture from the previous series.
