When starting a new project with TCB, the project often starts from the encounter with a vintage individual, but this time I started without encountering the original material of perfect sampling. I have a heart button at hand. And it is the same MASTER CLOTH overalls of that age. It started from there.
I've been thinking of the word Cathartt for a few years now, and I used the heart buttons, fabrics and MASTER CLOTH names as a reference from vintage overalls.
The number of warps is 16 and the number of threads is slightly reduced compared to the warp No. 7 of the natural uneven yarn that is not intentional. By making the weft thinner than the warp, the warp becomes uneven, so even 10oz 2x1 denim can be made into a fabric that can be dropped vertically.
The color is 100% synthetic indigo that is not mixed. It is a bright color because the number of dyeings is less than that of XX DENIM in the 1920s.
It is a little softer and more bluish than the texture of TCB's Tabby's Jacket. The twill is easy to see for a 2x1 and you can visually feel the unevenness of the warp, so you can expect a rough vintage-like discoloration compared to the Black Cat Jacket and Tabby's Jacket.
The base of CHORE COAT is Carhartt's Vintage from the 1940s and 50s.
While based on the silhouette of CHORE COAT, I made it in the atmosphere of the 1920s so that the MASTER CLOTH name, heart button and historical evidence match while referring to various materials.
The details are packed with TCB's commitment, such as a square collar with a stripped collar in the middle, a change button attached with an eyelet, an adjustable first button and cuffs, a set-in sleeve, and a low sleeve ridge that is reproduced in TWO CATS BLOUSE etc. I am.
A feeling of silhouette and a little loose size. It is a silhouette that is easy to wear and easy to match with various fashions.
