[TCB jeans "Storm Cats Jacket" 14.6oz Blanket Denim Jacket]
The fourth installment of TCB's blanket series is the Storm Rider.
The Cat boy previously made by TCB was a model from the late 30's when the right twill was still used.
This time, the outer material is a 14.6oz fabric that reproduces the vintage from the end of the war, and is made of EMOT cotton, which is a blend of cotton harvested in Memphis, New Orleans, and Texas, with a left twill warp count of 5.7 and a weft count of 6.7. The unique blue color and the running warp of the left twill create an atmosphere.
The wool for the lining is from Bishu, Japan's wool producing area.
The threads are vintage, the loom was made in 1960, and the craftsmen were also 1960 players, making for the perfect conditions to recreate the atmosphere of the fabric at the time.
In addition, the lining is a rare model with separate hems.
Was it difficult to make at the time due to the difference in shrinkage ratio between denim and wool linings? Or maybe it was the manufacturer's idea at the time that it was made with the premise of riding a horse in a forward-leaning riding position.The hem of the lining was not poured, but was made with a fluffy design, which is why the sewing machine wrapper was created. It has become a particular specification.
The more you wear it, the more its texture will improve, making it easy to pair with jeans, making it a great item for spring and fall.
Due to its Made in Japan quality and simple design, it is a masterpiece that you can use for a long time without getting tired of it.

The lining and size are set to be similar to the 50's and Type 1 Jackets sold by TCB in the past.
