[tanuki "GY8014S" GYS(Gyoten Standard T-shirts)]
Yarn-dyed black T-shirt from tanuki. A T-shirt with a classic silhouette featuring a slightly longer body.
Tanuki has newly developed a very robust fabric that exudes good quality.
By intentionally creating thin and thick sections, the slub yarn has a textured and unique look that feels like a hand-spun yarn. The yarn used is count 8, which is quite thick for a t-shirt, and this sturdy material holds up well and retains its shape even after repeated washings.
Because it is rope-dyed (a rope-shaped sumi-dyed thread) using light and dark sumi ink (Japanese black ink), there are bright gray spots in the black tone.
Spinning, rope dyeing, knitting, and processing are all done in Japan, just like other fabrics.
You can expect great color fading from this fabric, which tanuki named "Gyoten" (the night before sunrise).
In addition, the thick blue side seams and black reinforced ribs around the neck boast the highest level of durability in Japan, and the right shoulder is embroidered with the classic "Ni".
The silhouette is not extremely thin, and although it has a beautiful silhouette, it is very easy to wear thanks to the soft texture of the fabric.
