This is a WAREHOUSE flannel shirt. Made with precious fabrics only produced in limited regions, this flannel shirt is woven on an old-fashioned power loom. The fabric has a texture that is achieved by recreating the original feel from the thread itself. Like vintage flannel shirts up until the 1960s, WAREHOUSE uses selvedge in the gusset, creating the same authentic vintage construction.
This 3022 shirt features a pattern sampled from a fabric swatch book by BRAVEMAN, a former American shirt manufacturer, and the distinctive chin strap shape has been reproduced to the brand's specifications. The small collar creates a classic atmosphere. The pockets are slightly oversized with home plate-shaped flaps. The pen holder detail has also been reproduced. Another distinctive feature of old flannel shirts is that the pocket pattern does not run diagonally. The cuffs are single, a standard feature of old vintage details. The selvedge gusset is evidence that it was made on a power loom. There is a union ticket on the back of the placket, so it is carefully made even in a place that is difficult to see.
