In 1953, a ring spinning machine made in Japan named "Ishikawadai" was manufactured.
There is no record of any machines older than this, even by the manufacturer, and they are said to be the oldest spinning machines in operation in Japan.
"Ishikawadai" spins at a slow speed, about 1/3 of the speed of the latest ring spinning machine.
Therefore, the productivity is not excellent, but the stress on the cotton is less, so the natural expression of cotton becomes as if it were hand-spun (unevenness).
This is a unique feature of "Ishikawadai". The denim fabric for this product was manufactured using a shuttle loom made in 1950, using yarn spun from straight yarn count 6 at Ishikawadai.

The leather patch is red foil stamping of horse tanned leather. This leather patch is sewn on after the jeans have been washed.
The red foil stamping will fade with washing, and you can enjoy the change over time as it shrinks a little.
