Denim
The fabric used is 17-ounce Bushu Sashiko.
Bushu Sashiko is prized for its distinctive textured surface and exceptional durability.
It is a traditional Japanese textile that was historically used for insulation and reinforcement, and is still used today for Kendo and Judo uniforms.
For the dyeing process, the ancient "Amami Mud Dyeing" technique from Amami Oshima is employed.
Each garment is carefully dyed using the natural power of dyes derived from the native *Techigi* (Indian hawthorn) tree and iron-rich mud from geological strata dating back over 1.5 million years.
The result is a hue characterized by a depth and warmth that simply cannot be replicated by synthetic dyes.
Silhouette
The silhouette is a regular straight fit.
It shares the same silhouette as the classic "SD-101" model, allowing you to enjoy the look of classic "XX" models and vintage denim.
Details
It features original stamped copper rivets and, naturally, a leather patch.
This particular version is crafted using Amami Oshima mud-dyed Sashiko fabric.
The front features a button fly with natural nut buttons, creating a finish that harmonizes beautifully with the mud-dyed aesthetic.
The design is packed with meticulous details, such as an offset center belt loop.
Like the leather patch, the flasher also features a special design; combined with the traditional Japanese Sashiko fabric, it evokes a distinctly Japanese feel.
