[STUDIO D'ARTISAN "4619" Selvedge Sashiko Jacket]
This jacket uses 14oz original selvedge sashiko fabric woven on a power loom.
The fabric surface uses the deepest possible indigo yarn, dyed using the hank dyeing method, for both the warp and weft, achieving a rich, deep color.
To faithfully reproduce the unique texture and substantial feel of sashiko, the weaving density has been maximized.
It has been reborn as a new design that blends American work style with modern lifestyles.
Based on the style of a 2nd type denim jacket, it has been made more comfortable to wear with a more relaxed fit from the chest to the armpits, and additional pockets have been added under both arms for a more functional jacket.
It can be worn as a set with the Selvedge Sashiko Jeans [1907].
