This is the latest work to be reprinted as a special edition for spring 2024, based on newly acquired vintage.
The popular DUELLING DRAGON. It's a design that all Sukajan fans will love, featuring two dragons fighting with Mt. Fuji in the background.
Perhaps due to the habits of the craftsmen of the time, the embroidery is meticulously layered with a finer stitch width than usual, and the characteristic vintage embroidery is perfectly reproduced, down to the stitch width and needle foot.
The reversible side is a print of a map of Japan.
Printing is not done by modern machines, but by hand printing, in which a block is created one color at a time and the blocks are printed over and over again by hand.
It has a reversible design with leading-edge designs on both sides, making it a masterpiece worthy of the name of the original skajan, ``Port Sho''.

This special edition is a reproduction of carefully selected masterpieces from Taylor Toyo's collection with great attention to detail.
In addition to the detailed designs drawn with horizontal embroidery, the acetate fabric is adjusted to create a vintage-like finish, and the wool ribs are knitted one by one using an old-fashioned flat knitting machine.
For the reversible zippers, we restarted the fastening machines that were used more than 50 years ago and recreated the same hand-bending ones that were used back then.
Using the label of Kosho Shokai, the predecessor of Taylor Toyo, the finish is reminiscent of the heyday of vintage skajans.
*This product is extremely delicate due to the characteristics of the material. The fabric part is susceptible to friction and slipping, and is also prone to fading and discoloration due to color burns.
The embroidery part is reproduced using old-fashioned embroidery techniques, so the stitching is delicate and delicate, so please be careful not to get it caught.
Please avoid washing by hand or using a washing machine as this may cause the product to lose its shape, fade, fray, or shrink.
