[UES "60WH-I" Indigo Double Honeycomb Thermal]
We made a thick honeycomb long-sleeved shirt using indigo yarn-dyed yarn.
Because it is based on yarn-dyed yarn, it fades differently from indigo product dyeing.
A characteristic of rope dyeing is that the dye does not penetrate to the core, resulting in a denim-like color change.
To create thickness, three yarns are pulled together and knitted.
The fabric weighs about 12.5 oz, but we were able to create a soft, comfortable garment that is easy to move in.
Yarn-dyed indigo yarn is often avoided for production because it stains knitting machines, and it is a rare fabric that can only be produced in a limited number of factories in Japan.
A special four-needle sewing machine is used for sewing to prevent the sewn parts from becoming thick.
Thermal is known as a material for cut-and-sew items in cold seasons, but it is broadly divided into two types based on the shape of the knit: waffle and honeycomb.

We lay it on the floor, smooth out any wrinkles, and measure the fabric flat.
