[WAREHOUSE、"Lot.2227"、FINAL FORM OF WW2 1945 N-1 WINTER JACKET KHAKI (NXSX 79062) PATTERN B]
This is a late-model N-1 Winter Jacket delivered in 1945.
Records of the manufacturer list it as "Cornelius Weiss Co., Brooklyn, NY."
The Pattern B stencil on the back is from the USS Sunfish (SS-281), which was launched in 1942. After being decommissioned on December 26, 1945, at Mare Island Naval Base in Vallejo, California (see LINE), it was commissioned in April 1949 as a naval reserve training ship in Vallejo, California, where it served until 1960.
The fabric is very durable, the pile lining is very warm, and the sleeves make it a comfortable outerwear piece to wear even in the dead of winter.
It pairs perfectly with jeans, making it an easy fashion piece to incorporate into your wardrobe.
