In 1880, a time before the words "jeans" or "denim" even existed, the "waistoverall," worn suspended with suspenders, originated from workwear called overalls.
Now, BIG JOHN has created this historically significant "waistoverall."
The material used is American Sea Island cotton, an extremely rare type of cotton among the world's cottons.
This high-quality Sea Island cotton has been a favorite of the British royal family since the late 16th century and boasts the world's finest fiber length and fineness.
To recreate the slubby and rugged feel seen in the early days of denim in the 1880s, Sea Island cotton waste is upcycled and blended in, resulting in a unique texture, suppleness, and a superb touch.
This is a pair of jeans that allows you to enjoy rare vintage details such as the silhouette, suspender buttons, and cinch back.

These wide-leg straight jeans have a high rise and a generous fit.
While they have a relaxed fit around the waist and a wide silhouette, they are a wide model with a well-defined taper.
