【BUZZ RICKSON'S "BR52388" U.S. Marine Corps Herringbone Shorts】
This is a modified version of the herringbone twill utility pants adopted by the US Marine Corps in 1944, turned into shorts. There is a seat pocket on the hip and a gusseted pocket on the thigh which has excellent storage capacity. The front has a button fly and a wide gas flap on the placket to prevent gas from entering, and the eyelets at the waist are detailing for hanging hook-type suspenders. While retaining the details of the time, the pants have been modified to be easy to wear in modern times.
