[DENIME "Lot.220XX-47" 1947 MODEL XX MODEL]
A new denim story for DENIME is about to begin.
While aiming to recreate the denim from when DENIME was founded in 1988, Warehouse has updated it with its cultivated technology.
Denim
The "Vintage Banner" is made from denim rolls made in the 1920s and 1930s.
The "uncut threads" were extracted from the rolls and rigorously analyzed using Kurabo's advanced technology to create the DENIME "XX Series," a perfect reproduction of the American cotton denim fabric of the time.
The biggest feature is the slightly brownish color of the weft thread.
At the time, the weft thread (the back of the denim), which was hidden by the indigo-dyed warp thread and did not need to be pure white, was made from cheap and easily available brown cotton. This time, Warehouse and Kurabo went through many trials and errors and finally reproduced this color by blending 10% "brown cotton."
Silhouette
The silhouette is the XX model that is synonymous with DENIME. It has been reproduced and updated from the time.
While keeping the thighs, knees and hem intact, we have updated the fit around the waist.
This allows for a shrink-to-fit that is easy for anyone to wear and allows for a beautiful silhouette.
Details
The materials and shapes of the buttons and rivets have been updated.
The shape of the back pocket, which is the face of jeans, has been retained. The stitch width of the hidden rivet part and the sewing specifications that create a triangle at the top are also the same as they were back then.
The belt loops, which are curved and sewn from the center, were a detail that made denim instantly recognizable at the time.
The way the leather label is sewn is also unique, and it is sewn together with the stitching at the top of the obi, temporarily fastened, and then sewn into a square shape.
These jeans are the pinnacle of Japanese denim, combining the originality of denim and Warehouse's spirit of inquiry.

After washing, the waist will shrink by about 5-6cm and the length by about 6-7cm.
We also measure the items on the floor, smooth out any wrinkles, and flatten the fabric.
The size numbers may vary by a few centimeters depending on the individual product, the measurement method, and the amount of force used.
The size chart is therefore only a guide and may differ from the actual numbers.
