[DENIME "Lot.224-66" 66 MODEL (Ishikawadai Denim)]
DENIME's new DENIM story begins.
While aiming to recreate the denim from the time DENIME was founded in 1988, we will update it using the technical capabilities cultivated by the wear house.
Denim
This series uses cotton called raffi, which is made by reusing "false cotton" that is discarded during the yarn manufacturing process.
The raffi yarn made with a ring spinning machine manufactured in the 1950s has the same shape as the uneven yarn that was naturally created at that time. The American cotton called "raffi" has a track record of nearly half a century as the most natural uneven yarn among the cottons handled by Taisho Spinning around the world.
A ring spinning machine manufactured by Ishikawa Seisakusho in 1953. The so-called "Ishikawadai" has a third of the rotation speed compared to the latest spinning machines, and its production efficiency is incomparable.
In addition, while many spinning machines are now computerized and operate with one touch, the Ishikawadai requires a lot of labor and frequent maintenance, such as changing the gears each time.
On the other hand, it is possible to create natural yarns like uneven yarns, and it has the characteristic of being spun by low-tech machines that do not rely on computers and are close to the human hand.
DENIME asked Taisho Spinning to create a natural uneven yarn using "Raffi" cotton and "Ishikawadai".
It is the first time in the world that Raffi is made on a ring spinning machine in Ishikawadai and woven into denim fabric. This uneven yarn, which is carefully made at the same walking speed, has a completely different shape from that made by modern spinning machines.
Silhouette
This 224, which is based on the so-called 66 model, has a straight cut without any quirks.
The rise is not too shallow or deep, so it doesn't feel cramped, and it is a straight model with a moderate taper that anyone can wear.
You can now enjoy a beautiful silhouette regardless of your style.
Details
Since it is a bar tack specification, the rivet on the back of the pocket is omitted.
The texture of the paper tag that is characteristic of DENIME, the color of the sewing thread, the pin label and buttons have also been newly produced to reproduce the original look at the time of the company's founding.
These jeans combine the originality of denim with Warehouse's spirit of inquiry, aiming to be the best in Japanese denim.

After washing, the waist will shrink by about 5-6cm and the length by about 6-7cm.
We also measure the items on the floor, smooth out any wrinkles, and flatten the fabric.

The size chart is therefore only a guide and may differ from the actual numbers.
