Introducing a flannel work shirt from FAR EAST MANUFACTURING—another brand designed by Mr. Hayashi of RESOLUTE.
This work shirt is a reproduction based on a Sears piece from around 1960, crafted from a buffalo-check flannel fabric.
The fabric—sturdy and durable, lacking the brushed finish typical of 60s-era textiles—has undergone a wash-and-dry process, resulting in a dry, comfortable feel against the skin.
It features authentic vintage details, including triangular side gussets with extended chain-stitch threads ("empty loops"), bias-cut pockets, reinforced stitching at the sleeve plackets, and "lactone" (casein-style) buttons.
From the fabric to the intricate details, this flannel work shirt embodies the meticulous vision of designer Mr. Hayashi.
