7W corduroy woven in Enshu, one of Japan's three major cotton weaving regions.
The production quality is world-class, with some fabrics that can only be made in Enshu. Velvet and corduroy in particular are highly regarded for their outstanding quality, and this corduroy material makes the most of the techniques cultivated in this region, giving it a good pile and a supple texture.
This cap is made with a slightly shallow, rounded original shape, and the underside of the brim, the color scheme of the ankle holes, and the felt patch of the "F" made in a non-digital font from the early 1900s, all of which are carefully crafted down to the smallest details. The more you wear it, the more you can enjoy the changes that occur over time.
