Introducing a newly created 13oz naturally dyed selvedge denim.
Woven on vintage shuttle looms, this "greige" (unfinished) denim is crafted to evoke a true vintage feel; it undergoes no sanforization (anti-shrinkage), anti-twist processing, or singeing.
The yarns are individually hand-dyed using the *kase-zome* (hank-dyeing) method with authentic indigo and *kakishibu* (persimmon tannin).
Natural dyes are used for the warp yarns (hank-dyed), while the weft yarns remain in their natural, unbleached state.
By using "nep" yarns for both the warp and weft, graphzero has achieved a distinctive fabric with a rugged, textured character.
It offers a charming, hand-woven aesthetic, and as you wear it, you will enjoy a unique fading process—distinct from standard rope-dyed denim—that is characteristic of the hank-dyeing technique.

Silhouette
The silhouette is based on 5-pocket pants that actually existed during the 1940s, the era of the World War.
It features a slightly wide, straight cut—a classic silhouette that epitomizes the quintessential pair of jeans.
Details
The patch is crafted from vegetable-tanned cowhide featuring a unique black foil finish.
This patch embodies the passion and skilled craftsmanship of both seasoned artisans and the younger generation.
It bears the inscriptions "THE ONE AND ONLY TEXTILE" and "JAPAN PRIDE"—a testament to the quality and dedication that define graphzero—symbolizing the passing down of techniques for the future and the harmonious bond between artisan and thread in the creation of this denim.
The front features custom-made buttons bearing an original engraved design.
Cotton thread is used throughout the construction—including for hidden bar tacks and hidden rivets—allowing the stitching to age beautifully over time.

Since denim is woven on an old-fashioned power loom, there may be unevenness, small scratches, or balls in the fabric, but these are not defective products but genuine products, so we cannot accept exchanges or returns. Please note this.
Jeans may have creases. These may have been caused when the jeans were stored by our store, or by the manufacturer. In any case, creases are not considered defects but genuine products, so please note that we cannot accept exchanges or returns.
Denim may transfer color, so please be careful when washing and what you wear with it.

This is denim made from raw fabric, and the waist will stretch by approximately 2cm as you wear it. Please do not tumble dry.
We measure our garments by placing them on the floor, smoothing out any wrinkles, and flattening the fabric.
The size numbers may vary by a few centimeters depending on the individual product, the measurement method, and the amount of force used.
The size chart is therefore only a guide and may differ from the actual numbers.
