This model is a special edition designed specifically for black denim.
The pocket lining features a herringbone khaki fabric, commonly known as the "green pocket" pattern.
This contrasts beautifully with the rugged black denim, creating a sophisticated look despite its workwear origins.
All stitching uses 100% cotton thread, with #20, #30, #8, and #6 thread counts used appropriately.
Cotton thread naturally shrinks with repeated wear and washing, creating puckering in the seams and developing a three-dimensional appearance over time.
The belt loops have a raised center design.
As you wear them, fading will become more prominent, enhancing the appeal of aging. The difference becomes apparent after extended wear.
The rivets are intentionally oxidized copper rivets.
The hidden rivets utilize iron UFO back parts and a two-prong construction, which are rarely found in Japan.
This specification is extremely rare even among workwear of that era, and is one of the defining features of this model. The front buttons feature iron laurel wreath buttons and unmarked 14mm iron buttons.
By using iron for all metal parts, a consistent appearance is achieved even as the garment ages.
The fabric is woven slowly on an old-fashioned loom, with deep charcoal black warp threads and natural cotton weft threads.
It uses rope-dyed 14oz black denim.
Excessive shrinkage treatment is avoided, resulting in a natural texture and stable shrinkage balance.
This fabric was produced exclusively for this model, and production is limited to approximately 200 pieces.
There will be no further production of this specification.
