The name "HIGHER" was chosen to convey the message of "striving for greater heights" with a constant desire to improve, never satisfied with current technology or quality.
At HIGHER, we inherit the traditions and techniques accumulated over many years in southwestern Okayama Prefecture, a hat-producing region, and propose new products with our own unique touch. We work hard every day, hoping that wearing a hat will bring a smile to as many people as possible.
From HIGHER, we introduce the "MELTON L.B. CAP," a cap made from elegant wool melton fabric.
The body of this cap is made from a wool melton fabric that is a blend of 90% wool and 10% nylon, which adds firmness.
This melton is woven using top yarn that is dyed while the fibers are still in bundles before being made into yarn, resulting in a natural unevenness and deep color.
Compared to HIGHER's standard caps, this cap has a slightly longer brim and a fit that is neither too shallow nor too deep.
It is unlined for a lightweight feel.
The back has a cowhide leather adjuster that can be adjusted to fit both men and women, and the rivets add an accent.
The warm texture of the wool melton gives it a seasonal feel, and it is a basic design that is timeless and goes well with elegant, traditional styling.
