The name "HIGHER" was chosen to convey the idea of "striving for greater heights" and always striving to improve, never satisfied with current technology or quality.
At HIGHER, we inherit the traditions and techniques that have been accumulated over many years in southwestern Okayama Prefecture, a hat-producing region, and propose new products that add our own unique HIGHER essence. We work hard every day creating hats, hoping that wearing them will bring a smile to as many people as possible.
Harris Tweed, still woven on pedal looms in the Outer Hevrides, located in the north of Scotland, is the only fabric in the world protected by law.
Its production is subject to extremely strict conditions, including the use of pure virgin wool and the requirement that all finished fabrics be inspected by the association.
This season, it has been made into a newsboy cap style using a fabric with a distinctive mélange texture reminiscent of oatmeal grains.
It has a relaxed crown and is fully lined for a sturdy construction. We paid particular attention to the balance when worn, resulting in a beautiful shape.
