The theme for JELADO’s 2026 collection is "Shibu-Kaji" (Shibuya Casual).
This collection draws inspiration from the "Shibu-Kaji" style that flourished in Shibuya during the late 1980s and 90s, reimagining it with a modern twist.
The lineup offers timeless, durable products that evoke a sense of nostalgia for one's youth.
For this release, we have crafted shorts featuring the "Last Resort" brown label for the first time, while maintaining the exact specifications of our classic "41 Khaki" trousers.
We analyzed and deconstructed two types of vintage 41 Khakis to replicate the soft touch of the original chino fabric.
Deep South cotton is used for both the warp and weft, with a deliberately loose yarn twist to accentuate the fabric's softness.
Dyed using 100% Vat dyes, the fabric is designed to develop a unique patina and character through repeated wear.
Distinct puckering and natural fading patterns emerge over time.
The construction faithfully reproduces vintage details, such as 2mm-wide double-welted pockets and the use of contrasting fabrics for the fly facing and pocket linings.
While the deep rise ensures a comfortable, relaxed fit, the gently tapered hem creates a sophisticated, mature casual look.
