[JELADO "AG72417" 24/7 Leather Sports Jacket]
Introducing the new 24/7 from the BASIC COLLECTION.
This is the first time that JELADO has released a 1930s style sports jacket. We named it after the desire to wear it without a break, like a convenience store that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We followed the design of a minor brand, but a vintage with interesting details.
We used horsehide about 1.6 mm thick and tanned it with a combination (chrome x tannin). After tanning with chrome, we washed off the solvent and tanned it again with tannin to bring out the advantages of the tannin, and prepared the material to give the leather a moderate sense of weight and a better feel when worn.
After dyeing the base light brown, we sprayed black with a hill dye at a long-established finishing factory in Tokyo. It is a so-called brown core leather.
This time, in order to bring out the black more strongly, we added the color with a semi-aniline finish that mixed pigment and dye in half and half. After dyeing, we beat the leather dry to bring out its natural look.
The dye that colors the base and the pigment that coats the top match perfectly, and the leather ages well with wear.
The softness of the leather, which 100% pigment does not have, and the thin coating allow the base color to show through quickly as you wear it.
This is a versatile leather jacket that can be worn by anyone, regardless of age, outfit, or style.
