[JELADO "AG94341A" 41 Khaki Lastresort Chino Cloth]
The ultimate chino cloth, with careful attention to raw cotton, thread, weaving, and dyeing. That is the new LASTRESORT CHINO CLOTH.
Similar to Last Resort Denim, we disassemble carefully selected individuals from several types of dead stock M41 KHAKI, and thoroughly consider the production background and technical capabilities of the time, such as thread thickness, uneven shape, number of twists, and direction of twist. This is a specially crafted material.
The raw cotton used is Gerard's basic American Deep South cotton. The shape of the unevenness is neither too strong nor too weak, reproducing the natural unevenness of yarn.
Up until now, the material had been dyed with reactive dyes, but this time it was dyed with the threne dye that was used at the time.
Although the quality of threne dyes is lower than that of modern reactive dyes, it was a dye from around the 1950s that was strong against fastness, friction, and sunlight, and was a fairly excellent dye at the time, making it durable for work clothes and towels. It seems that it was used as a material that required quality.
We use rice cotton, shuttle loom, and slen dye to enjoy the aging of Gerrard's new 41KHAKI, which creates a texture that is reminiscent of the vintage fabric each time you wash it.
It has a highly reproducible finish, including the distinctive offset belt loops and vintage-like 2mm wide double-sided pockets.
Normally, the pockets are made of sleek, but like the vintage sampled, a separate chino fabric is used. The side seam puckering also comes out strongly, adding a rugged look to the thick silhouette when worn.
By adjusting the movement of the hands to match the pitch of the time, we have created a classic atmosphere that is more typical of 41 Khaki.
The rise is deep and the waistline is thick, giving it a vintage silhouette.
