JELADO's theme for 2024 is "SPROUT".
Based on the name of the vintage shop that our CEO Goto established 20 years ago, we will reproduce and develop vintage items and popular products purchased at that time.
This time, we have reproduced baker pants made of herringbone twill that was adopted by the US military in 1947.
It is said that baker pants were originally named after bakers who wore them. They are also called fatigue pants, and were worn not only when going to the battlefield but also during office work.
The M-47 pants, which were adopted as the successor to the M-43 pants, eliminated the large cargo pockets on the sides and used urea buttons.
The baker pants this time are made of herringbone twill fabric and are characterized by their firm texture. The vintage herringbone from that time is a durable fabric with clear ridges created by changing the twist.
These are based on vintage pants owned by JELADO, dyed with sulphon, and the color fades with each wear, allowing you to enjoy the vintage-like aging process.
The wider silhouette makes them very easy to coordinate with other items besides jeans.
