The theme of the 2025 collection is "THE CREAM OF THE CACHE". This is a coined word, but it means "the best collection".
This year, we will be recreating the best vintage items from JELADO's treasured collection over the course of a year.
As one of the highlights of this collection, we will be introducing a piece based on the highly acclaimed M-43 HBT, made from 10.5 oz denim with a LASTRESORT blue tag.
The M-43 was developed and officially adopted by President Roosevelt in 1941, and was created to completely change young people's image of the military and increase the number of enlistments.
Since the old uniforms were considered to be of low quality and uncomfortable to wear, we adopted HBT (herringbone twill) fabric, which had been used by the Air Force since 1939.
This new uniform was initially used for training and chores, but was later adopted as combat clothing in tropical climates.
It received high praise for its ease of use, and production continued after that, with changes to specifications and the addition of size variations.
In particular, in 1943, the US military considered the possibility of using poison gas ahead of the Normandy Landings (D-DAY), and developed and produced the "D-type" specification called "M-43".
This model uses iron laurel buttons instead of 13-star buttons, and the dome-shaped feet emphasize the vintage feel.
In addition, by omitting the gas flap, the shirt looks more cohesive even when the buttons are open.
The blue tag denim used is woven with three different thicknesses of thread alternately, giving it a unique texture that allows you to enjoy random vertical fading.
The weft thread is made of sulfur-dyed gray thread, creating a calm and classic atmosphere.
Furthermore, unlike the denim of the time, it is designed to be comfortable to wear, making it functional, easy to move in, and enjoyable to wear as it changes over time.
