JELADO "JB94902" U.S.N 41 Service Shoes
JELADO "JB94902" U.S.N 41 Service Shoes
[JELADO "JB94902" U.S.N 41 Service Shoes]
These truly universal leather shoes can be coordinated with a wide range of styles, from chinos and denim to dress styles.
The development base was a pair of service shoes, likely from the 1940s, owned by JELADO Goto.
These shoes feature an early upper design, with a slightly pointed toe compared to later models, six pairs of hidden eyelets, and a T-shaped leather lining on the heel.
These have been reproduced using kip glass leather with a smooth, beautiful luster and brown core.
The last used is a reproduction of a 1941 navy last previously owned by Suzuki of The 2 Monkeys.
The sole is made of leather to match the service shoes of the time, and a non-slip rubber sheet has been affixed to the tread area for added practicality.
The appearance of the 1940s service shoes has been reproduced as closely as possible, including the printing on the back of the waistband and the engravings on the sole.
The black leather service shoes worn by U.S. Navy petty officers with their uniforms are simple, beautiful, functional, and streamlined - perhaps one of the most perfect examples of leather shoes.
