Unlike regular work shirts, the MECHANIC SHIRTS are based on the 1950s chambray shirts with facings from the "OX-HIDE" brand.
Unlike regular work shirts, there is no placket, giving it a somewhat open-collared feel.
The material is the ultimate twisted heathered chambray fabric offered by JELADO, which has been available since last year.
This fabric is a thorough reproduction of the characteristics of the fabric, such as the thread count, number of threads, shape of uneven threads, and state of twist, by disassembling VINTAGE Big Yanks from the 1930s and 1940s that JELADO has collected.
Since it is dyed with sulfur dyes, you can enjoy the aging process that is unique to VINTAGE.
The other color is made of a white heathered fabric made by weaving black and white heathered warp threads and white threads into the weft.
Since it is made on a power loom, you can feel the texture of the 1930s and 1940s.
By using cotton thread for sewing, the threads get clogged when the shirt is washed or dried in the dryer, resulting in puckering around the shoulders and arms.
