JELADO disassembles deadstock vintage denim and has the materials analyzed at a national testing institute.
Based on the results, they created a premium denim fabric with meticulous attention to detail.
This gold tag model is the culmination of LASTRESORT DENIM, completed over five years.
Its production faithfully reproduces the jeans of the time, following the designs of the white, black, and silver tags.
Data was also extracted from used wartime models to recreate the feel of existing vintage denim.
JELADO's goal of creating the finest denim, never before seen, has been achieved.
The wartime models proposed by JELADO are not simple reproductions.
Based on the S501XX, which was created amid material controls and regulations in accordance with Ordinance L-181 issued by the WPB (War Production Board) in August 1942 for material control, this model was created using data and hypotheses obtained from actual disassembly of vintage jeans and modern cutting-edge technology.

This wartime model features the highest quality "gold tag."
The warp thread is made from 100% American cotton Deep South, using three counts (6, 7, and 8) to create a subtle unevenness.
The weft thread is made from the finest extra-long staple Spin Gold Supreme cotton, a 6 count thread and 38mm length, and the rope dyeing is done in a deep pure indigo inspired by deadstock.
The TOYODA G3 loom uses a 68 warp and 47 weft thread count, which allows the fabric to develop a unique character with each wear.
The result is the ultimate material that evokes the denim of that time, with its distinctive vintage texture and irregular fading, reminiscent of deadstock denim.

The silhouette is slightly thicker, similar to the black tag, but still has a clean line.
You can wear it without looking unfashionable.
detail
The design is based on the early model S501XX owned by JELADO, and reproduces the engraved accessories.
The back pocket has a simple design with no decorative stitching, and has been reproduced as faithfully as possible.
Stock rivets from the 1930s have been reused as is, and custom rivets have been created with a lowercase "o" in "JELADO Co."
Details unique to wartime models, such as the raw cut design on the front and thick belt loops, have also been meticulously reproduced.
