JELADO "JP94409" 44 Leather Jacket
[JELADO "JP94409" 44 Leather Jacket]
This 1944 denim jacket was made from horsehide, focusing on the Second World War.
The material used this time is a newly developed horsehide about 1.6mm thick, which has been combination tanned (chrome x tannin).
After tanning with chrome, the solvent is washed away and the leather is tanned again with tannin, bringing out the best in the tannin, resulting in a leather with a moderate weightiness and a more comfortable feel when worn. The base is dyed light brown, and then black is applied using a hill dye at a long-established finishing factory in Tokyo.
To bring out the black even more, the leather is finished with semi-aniline, which is a mixture of pigment and dye in half.
The dye that colors the base and the pigment that is applied to the top of the coat match perfectly, creating a nice aging effect when worn.
The leather is softer than 100% pigment, and the thin coating means that the base color will show through as soon as you wear it.
The buttons are rusted laurel buttons. The design reproduces the T-back detail on the back, which was only available for sizes 46 and above at the time.
For larger sizes, the fabric was sewn together in the middle in two pieces due to the width (area) of the fabric, but now it is called a "T-back" and is a detail that is popular among vintage lovers. It also has a buckle back on the back.
The silhouette is slightly longer than the vintage 1st, making it a slightly more streamlined silhouette.
This is a piece that allows you to feel the goodness of the simple design of the 1st type and the soft, easy-to-wear horse leather.
This is a versatile leather jacket that can be worn by any age, outfit, or style.
Please note that the price is different for sizes 44 (XXL) and above.
