These engineer boots are based on a vintage pair of boots owned by JELADO's Goto, believed to be from the 1950s.
While retaining the unique details of the original vintage boots—such as the single leather sole, low heel, low-positioned vamps on both sides that meet the heel counter pocket, slightly wider shaft, reverse-curved buckle, pointed-toe strap end, and gusset at the heel—these boots add a new personality to the vintage style by changing the last, removing the toe cap, adding a curve to the base of the instep strap, and using black horsebutt leather with a brown core.
The brown core will appear relatively quickly, allowing you to fully enjoy the aging process.
