The fabric used by LVC is made by Kaihara, one of Japan's leading denim manufacturers.
This time, the fabric has been renewed and now uses organic cotton.
This fabric uses advanced Japanese technology to realistically recreate the rough denim texture of the denim produced by Cone Mills at the time.
Woven on an old-fashioned shuttle loom, the denim is approximately 27-29 inches wide and is characterized by both ends being sewn with red thread (red selvedge).
Because the fabric is made to the fullest extent possible, selvedge can be seen on the outer seams and the back of the watch pocket, creating a detail known as red selvedge. This denim retains the natural texture of the cotton thread, which adds to its appeal as it develops a unique texture with wear.
The color fades more vividly than previous products.

The silhouette is a regular straight that is slimmer than previous generations.
The rise is not too high, and the straight cut has just the right amount of room, making it a simple and easy-to-wear pair.
detail
The front features four buttons, one fewer than the current model. The top button features a reinforcing V-stitch, a characteristic of pre-1960s 501s.
The buttons are engraved with the brand name, and the brand name is engraved on the copper rivets. The watch pocket is fitted with rivets, a feature that was revived after the war.
The two-needle arcuate stitching is still in place, of course. The 1947 model is characterized by its asymmetrical sides.
The Big E red tab has no register mark. The two-horse leather patch is made from cowhide.
The red selvedge is commonly known as "red ear." Hidden rivets are covered by the fabric to prevent damage to furniture and tools.
*This product is one-wash.
It has the same denim and details as the raw denim 1947 model, but the sizing is different.
Please note that even if you wash, dry, and shrink a 30-inch raw denim jersey, it will not fit the same as the 30-inch jersey of this one-wash model.
This product does not come with a Levi's eco bag.

- Jeans may have creases. These may be creases from storage at our store, or from storage by the manufacturer, but in any case, creases from folding are not defective products but genuine products, so please understand that we cannot accept exchanges or returns.
- Denim may transfer color, so please be careful when washing and what you wear with it.
