This extra-thick 20oz secret black denim is woven with sulfur-dyed black rope-dyed yarn for both the warp and weft.
The old-fashioned power looms are extremely difficult to operate, and this fabric can only be produced by highly experienced craftsmen.
This dark indigo black denim, with its strong textured surface, will develop a beautiful patina and character with wear.
*Why is it called Secret Denim?
To create this denim, we researched the single-ply structure of the yarn and, deliberately avoiding large spinning mills, created a special yarn at a retro and unique spinning mill.
The indigo rope dyeing of the warp threads was done to create an indigo color that looks like it's been aged for decades, as if pulled from a warehouse.
The weft threads were dyed a deep beige color, reminiscent of wild mother cotton born from Mother Earth.
The combination of these warp and weft threads expresses an unprecedented denim color, receiving rave reviews not only from professional technicians involved in denim fabric production, but also from denim enthusiasts and even those unfamiliar with denim.
Because this denim was created using many top-secret techniques, we named it Secret Denim.
Silhouette
The silhouette is wide and straight.
The rise is neither too high nor too low, and the leg line is a wide, straight cut.
You can enjoy a bold, wide silhouette with a strong presence.
Details
These jeans feature a classic leather patch with a distinctive embossed pattern, made from vegetable-tanned leather.
The front has a button fly with original buttons finished in black lacquer.
They also feature Oni Denim's original copper rivets, including the familiar hidden rivet detail on the inside of the hip pockets.
Enjoy the style unique to black denim, such as the red selvedge line that stands out against the black.
The original flasher tag also adds to the overall feel.
The brand's individuality shines through in these details, making them incredibly appealing.
