D'ARTISAN, which takes its name from French, began as a store modeled after a small French boutique.
The concept was "expressing a new fashion culture through jeans."
Orgueil follows a similar foundation, starting with a small selection of items and small batches.
This cardigan's design is based on the C-2 knit sweater used by the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) during World War II in the 1940s.
The C-2 knit sweater was a military sweater issued primarily to pilots and aircrew members.
While it is usually a crew neck with a zip-front, this one has been restyled as a cardigan.
It features antique-looking coloring and a punched-needle rib knit.
Made from 100% wool, it has excellent heat retention.
It looks stylish as a top, and can be worn as an inner layer under any outerwear to keep you warmer.
It also goes great as an inner layer under a leather jacket, expanding the range of uses for leather jackets even in winter.
