[RESOLUTE, GB714, 15th Anniversary Ghost Black War Model (WW2 model)]
Resolute's 15th anniversary black jeans.
Compared to indigo dye, black denim, which is difficult to keep the core of the thread white, tends to fade in a dull way, for better or worse.
This time, by using a newly developed dyeing technique, commonly known as "ghost black," we succeeded in dyeing the fabric while leaving the white core intact.
You can enjoy the intense fading of the color, which is appropriate for RESOLUTE's first black denim.
*The size is the same as the regular 714, so please choose the same size.
Denim
RESOLUTE is a new brand created by Yoshiyuki Hayashi, a leading denim maker and known as the founder of Denime.
They create real 60's denim by paying attention to the weaving and dyeing of the thread.
RESOLUTE means "resolute," "strong-willed," and "resolute" in English. Designer Hayashi is particular about the quality of the fabric and sewing, and has created original denim fabric in the Bingo region of the Chugoku region using old-fashioned dyeing methods and old-fashioned power looms.
The unique nap and rough texture of the denim fabric are calculated to produce an exquisite color fade and texture as you wear them, and you can enjoy the real vintage color fade of the 1950s.
Silhouette
This is the widest silhouette among RESOLUTE. It has a deep rise and a slightly loose silhouette.
The waist is raised and the shape wraps around the hips.
Details
During World War II in the United States, material control forced the simplification of various specifications, known as the "war model."
There are a wide variety of types that were born from the production background during the wartime.
RESOLUTE follows the details unique to vintage war models, such as a donut-shaped top button engraved with a laurel leaf, a coin pocket without rivets, and thick belt loops.
These jeans are packed with Hayashi's attention to detail in his pursuit of vintage.
