Denim
These jeans use yarn dyed with "Futai," a traditional Japanese indigo dye that has been cherished in Japan since the Heian period.
These jeans embody the unique worldview of Studio D'Artisan, woven on an old-fashioned power loom using traditional Japanese colors.
They are made from 16oz equivalent right-hand twill selvedge denim using Futaai-dyed yarn, created by layering two dyes: indigo and safflower.
Silhouette
The silhouette is the brand's classic regular straight fit.
With a moderately deep rise and a thigh circumference that is neither too wide nor too narrow, it's a well-balanced, standard silhouette.
Details
It features original copper rivets and, of course, a leather patch.
The front has a button fly, also using original hardware.
It's full of other meticulous details, such as off-center belt loops.
