STUDIO D'ARTISAN, a brand from Osaka whose name means "artisan's workshop," has released a variety of items since its debut in 1979. As the original manufacturer of replica jeans, they are so particular about their natural indigo dye that they distinguish between "natural indigo denim," which fades deeply, and "pure indigo denim," which has distinct shades.
