[STUDIO D'ARTISAN "SD-101" 15oz Right Hand Regular Straight]
STUDIO D'ARTISAN, which means "artisan's workshop", is a brand from Osaka that has released various items since its debut in 1979. It is the original manufacturer of replica jeans, and is so particular that it divides its products into "natural indigo denim", which has a heavy color fade even among natural indigo dyes, and "pure indigo denim", which has clear shades.
On the other hand, it continues to attract fans with its humorous items using "pig" characters.
Denim
The thick 15-ounce denim fabric woven on a valuable old shuttle loom is characterized by its firm fit and dark dyed color.
Because these jeans are dark in color, it takes time to fade, but they have the characteristic of clearly showing whiskers and atari.
In addition, since the fabric is unprocessed and not sanforized or skewed, it shrinks and twists like vintage jeans from the 1950s when washed.
Silhouette
The silhouette is the most basic straight model among D'Artisan's products.
This model has a slightly deep rise and is roomy like an XX type, so it is a straight cut that anyone can wear regardless of style.
Details
Original copper punched rivets are used, and the patch is an original goat leather patch.
The patch develops a unique character the more it is used. The front has a button fly, which is also original.
The distinctive blue selvedge creates a different look from other denim when rolled up.
Other details include a center-offset belt loop.

Valuable old Made from 15oz thick right twill selvedge denim woven on a power loom.
