[SUGAR CANE "SC11936" 13oz. Denim Blouse 1936 Model]
Introducing a new model from SUGAR CANE: the 1936 denim jacket.
Crafted from 13oz. selvedge denim using an immaturely spun, unevenly-spun 7-count warp and 7-count weft, the pre-war orange stitching stands out.
This denim blouse is a 1936 model, from a time when the tuck buttons on the front and cuffs had just recently been replaced by full-size buttons for tops, replacing small buttons for pants flies.
The back of the left chest pocket flap is made from light-weight denim, and selvedge can be seen on the edge of the front body.
Due to the width of the denim, sizes 46 and above feature an extra-large T-back back.
The denim fabric is an original SUGAR CANE denim, recreated after thorough analysis of vintage denim.
The result of meticulously recreating vintage denim through meticulous attention to every step of the spinning, dyeing, weaving, and sewing process has resulted in a classic piece that has been loved by many for many years and continues to be produced as a staple.
This is the true standard, and SUGAR CANE denim is made with that standard in mind.
