[SUGAR CANE "SC15650" 14.25oz. BLACK DENIM JACKET 1953 MODEL]
This is Sugar Cane's classic denim jacket. This time, it is made of black denim.
The denim fabric is woven with black warp and off-white weft, and like indigo, it is a material that changes over time.
The stitching is uniformly black. The characteristics of the raw cotton and the components of indigo were scientifically analyzed, and the expressive unevenness that appears when worn is also a major attraction of this model.
For this reason, the thread thickness is uneven and it is woven powerfully on a power loom. Furthermore, since this model was made in an era when standards were not yet unified, many types of sewing threads were used, and the details are tasteful.
This model faithfully reproduces such specifications, and is thoroughly particular about all processes of weaving, dyeing, and sewing, and is packed with the charm of the original model.
This is a 1953 model, a transitional period when denim jackets were changing from workwear to casual wear.
It is made of the same denim fabric as the classic SC42460, so it can be set up.
SC15650 is a masterpiece modeled on Levi's denim jacket, commonly known as the 2nd type, and is a reproduction of every detail.
The 2nd type, which appeared as a successor to the 1st type, features a box-shaped, rugged silhouette.
The front has action pleats and box stitching. Nickel-colored iron buttons are used.
The size tag is sandwiched at the top of the leather patch. The opening of the cuffs is reinforced with rivets.
This is a masterpiece that represents the 1950s, a transitional period when denim jackets changed from workwear to casual wear, and is also famous for being worn by Elvis Presley.

It is a unique design that is not too slim or too large, unique to the 2nd type. Wearing an S/STee as an inner layer, the M size is just right.
