[SUGAR CANE、SC28190、Blue Denim L/S Western Shirt]
Along with ten-gallon hats and western boots, the western shirt is a cowboy item that developed and evolved uniquely in America.
This denim shirt is based on vintage western shirts from the 1950s and 1960s.
The denim fabric used was also created by analyzing vintage items and handling the spinning and dyeing process.
While western shirts made for western movies and stage costumes at the time were often flashy and eccentric, featuring fringe and satin, cowboys preferred fabrics like denim, chambray, and flannel as practical wear.
The body and sleeves are sewn with a twin-needle chain stitch, giving it a workwear feel, but it also features a more tapered waist than a work shirt.
A distinctive feature is the western yoke, which is said to have protected the shoulders in the event of a fall from a horse.
Snap buttons are used on each part to make it easier to remove the shirt if it got caught on horse tack or a cow's horn during work.
The pearl parts of the buttons are made from genuine shell (carved from the shell), so the color and texture will vary depending on the part. There are three buttons on each cuff. This luxurious garment uses a total of 18 buttons.
A union ticket is tucked into the inside of the placket.
The stitching uses a tough chain stitch.
