Ombre check patterns were released by brands like TOWN CRAFT and ARROW in the 1950s and 1960s. Based on vintage designs, the pattern is recreated using five colors for the warp and four colors for the weft. It features elegant Takase shell buttons and a small collar. While shirts made from synthetic fibers were beginning to be released during this era, this fabric is 100% rayon.
The unique texture and feel of rayon, along with the open collar, create a stylish design reminiscent of the 1950s.
