The original ID fabric, invented by one of the denim manufacturers about 10 years ago, was lightweight, but by switching to Texas cotton, it became more durable and heavy. Texas cotton, with its long and stable fibers, is durable and comfortable to wear.
This ID fabric is woven on an old shuttle loom.
The roughness and unevenness are created by weaving at low tension.
Both the weft and warp threads are dipped into synthetic indigo (pure indigo) 8 times, but the dipping is done quickly so that the deep blue color does not penetrate deep into the core of the thread.
That is why this fabric shows its unique fading.
Thanks to the uneven structure, the fabric rubs against each other and the white core becomes more apparent, so you can enjoy the fading even with minimal wear.
Because the fabric itself is complex and uneven, the production of the fabric is the most limited among tanuki.
Only one loom can make the fabric, and it is woven slowly due to the low tension of the weave.
The portion of fabric that is deemed good enough to be used as denim fabric rivals the best quality fabrics in the industry, allowing for intense texture and intense color fading.

The rise is slightly deep and the inseam is short, creating a strongly tapered silhouette.
While the thighs themselves are not extremely narrow, the hems are so narrow that they are a little difficult to put on.

The leather patch has a simple design with only "two", which is also the brand's icon. The more you wash it, the more the texture will improve, and you can enjoy how it changes over time.
The pocket has a single hidden stitch, and the right pocket has a "two" embroidered on it, just like the patch.
The colors of this embroidery represent the red and white of Japan's national flag, but the color of the denim is also considered to be blue, which hides a playful anagram-like effect that represents the national flags of France and the Netherlands, where the designer is located. .
Other highly unique details include the use of copper punched rivets and the bright blue sewing thread on the inner thigh.
