"If a vintage flannel pocket comes out, I want to make a second world war model."
I had this thought in mind, and finally found one. And the Late S40s was created based on this item.
It is an image of the late war, when the shortage of supplies became more serious, and the pocket fabric had to be made of a different material, and furthermore, it would have been sewn by a craftsman with less skill.
The fabric is a mixture of warp threads 7.5 and 6.5, mainly Texas cotton, and finished with a natural uneven thread using a weft thread 6.
By using uneven threads made of two types of warp threads, it shows a different color fading than other products.
I hope you enjoy the unique color fading that TCB has created after extensive research.
Silhouette
When we made the S40's silhouette, we made the length longer than the vintage and made the armholes and width a little tighter, but this time we did not make any modifications to the original vintage, and we did not change the angle of the shoulders or the way the armholes are attached.
As a result, the silhouette is a little looser than the normal S40's. Also, the unique shape of this time will create a color fade that has never been seen before.
Details
The leather patch is a reproduction of the sample, which was placed too low.
The pleats are all different sizes. They are wide, just like the previous S40's, but they were misaligned last time, and this time they are all unevenly sized.
The charm of this model is the vagueness that is unique to war models, where it's OK as long as it stays in place.
The lily buckle is made of iron, but it still has a beautiful plating. The triangular fastening is also noticeably distorted. The strap is almost rectangular.
The details are different from the previous S40's, and it is full of new charm.
