"If I ever find a vintage flannel pocket, I want to make a WWII model."
I had this idea in mind, and finally found one. And the Late S40s was created based on this item.
It is based on the image of the late war, when the shortage of supplies became more serious, and the pocket fabric had to be made of a different material, and was sewn by a craftsman with less skill.
The fabric is a mixture of warp threads 7.5 and 6.5, mainly made of Texas cotton, and finished with a natural uneven thread using a weft thread of 6.
The uneven threads made from two types of warp threads give it a different color fading than other products.

Silhouette
The waist is as shown in the size chart, and the size is almost the same when converted to inches/centimeters.
Unlike the regular S40's, the rise is about the same, and the thigh width and hem width are typical straight jeans, making this a model that is easy to wear regardless of body type, just like the 50's.
The straight cut is easy for anyone to wear, so it is a model that anyone can wear regardless of style.
Details
This original design was created based on the flannel fabric used in vintage linings.
The large misalignment of the back yoke is also reproduced as it is. The buttons are iron, two-prong donut buttons. The texture increases as they rust.
The details are different from the previous S40's, and are full of new charm.
