"If I ever find a vintage flannel pocket, I want to make a WWII model."
I had this idea in mind, and finally found one. And the Late S40s was created based on this item.
It is based on the image of the late war, when the shortage of supplies became more serious, and they had to accept different materials for the pocket fabric, and it would have been sewn by craftsmen with less skill.
The fabric is 14oz. black in both directions, using warp thread No. 7 and weft thread No. 6, mainly made of American cotton, and the yarn with natural unevenness was dyed black with sulfur yarn.
Since it is yarn dyed, it will have vertical fading and whiskers, so you can enjoy the aging of black jeans.
Raw black denim is rare, but at TCB, we hope you will enjoy the unique fading of black denim.
Silhouette
The waist is as per the size chart, and the size is almost the same when converted to inches/centimeters.
Unlike regular S40's jeans, this model has a standard rise, and the thigh and hem width are standard straight jeans, making it easy to wear regardless of body type, just like the 50's.The straight cut makes it easy for anyone to wear, so it can be worn by anyone regardless of style.
Details
This original model was created based on the flannel fabric used in vintage linings.
The large misalignment of the back yoke is also reproduced as is. The buttons are iron, two-prong donut buttons. The texture increases as they rust.
The details are different from the previous S40's, and it is full of new appeal.
