This is a yarn-dyed indigo fabric woven with the same thread composition and number of threads as the well-established heavy flannel shirt fabric. Both the warp and weft threads are rope-dyed, and the undyed core remains white, allowing you to enjoy attractive discoloration.
The indigo color density is varied between the warp and weft threads, creating a subtle chambray-like appearance. A striped pattern is created by adding ecru thread to the indigo heavy flannel. Unlike checks, it has a calmer look and can be worn for a long period of time from early fall to early spring.
The fabric gradually fades as you wear it, making it an item that you can enjoy changing in appearance. The silhouette is a narrow and beautiful silhouette typical of UES.
*UES (cloth) products use old-fashioned looms and traditional dyes to give them a better texture. Please understand that slight unevenness in the fabric, neps, weaving scratches, and uneven coloring are part of the product's characteristics.

*Kikuchi’s impressions* The model is wearing size 2 (M). Size 1 (S) is just the right size for me (173 cm 64 kg). 2(M) feels just right. It goes well with jeans and chinos, so it's easy to use. 2 is perfect for my body type. 1 is quite a snug size.
