UES printed T-shirts have five main features.
1. Excellent compatibility between fabric and print.
The jersey fabric, made with 16-count single yarn, has a large weave, making rubber prints prone to cracking along the weave.
Even with discharge prints, the pigment adheres well to the fabric, and the print peels off just right.
2. Highly elastic fabric that resists deformation even after repeated washing.
By using UES' original yarn, a blend of Desi cotton and organic cotton, we were able to create a highly elastic fabric that takes advantage of the properties of Desi cotton.
Desi cotton is difficult to spin on its own due to its thick and short fibers.
This problem is solved by blending it with organic cotton.
The excellent elasticity and toughness of Desi cotton, which is even used as cushioning material, are evident in the product.
3. Original slim-fit silhouette.
The tight and short pattern is designed to conform to the body comfortably with repeated wear and washing.
The finished product is in its most shrunk state after being put through a commercial tumble dryer.
Knit fabric has the characteristic that pulling the length (vertical) narrows the width (horizontal), and conversely, pulling the width shortens the length (vertical).
If it feels tight, stretch the fabric to make it conform to your body.
4. Vintage feel achieved through garment dyeing using traditional dyes.
We use dyes with relatively weak colorfastness, such as direct dyes and reactive dyes, for garment dyeing.
We intentionally use dyes that fade, considering their compatibility with denim that fades.
Garment dyeing allows for a variety of shades.
Furthermore, bio-processing is applied after dyeing to give the fabric even more depth in color and texture.
5. Binder neck.
The ribbing around the neckline is attached using a triple-fold binder construction.
T-shirts often become unusable due to stretching out around the neck.
However, UES T-shirts ensure durability by using thick ribbing and a 25mm wide binder neck construction.
*UES products use old-fashioned looms and traditional dyes to create a more textured look.
Please understand that slight unevenness in the fabric, neps, weaving defects, and color unevenness are part of the product's character.
