[UES "70RW-DU" New Pukara Sweat]
This is a renewed classic Pukara sweatshirt.
The surface thread No. 16 is a 7:3 blend of Desi cotton and organic cotton from Uganda, so it's like a hybrid.
Desi cotton creates a unique wool-like dry touch. The organic cotton that is mixed with it is from Uganda, which is considered to be compatible with Desi cotton. Since it is based on raw cotton harvested by hand, there is a problem of different raw cotton yarns coming in, but it is a combination that creates the most bulky and wool-like texture.
The back thread is also characterized by the use of brown cotton from Zimbabwe. Compared to the previous Pukara sweatshirt, the Ugandan organic cotton is of high quality and has a strong whiteness, and the color of the oatmeal and heather gray is slightly different. It feels a little softer, but the finish is almost the same as the Pukara sweatshirt.
The plain design makes it easy to use as a single piece or as an inner layer, and it is a sweatshirt with excellent heat retention.
*UES products use old-fashioned looms and traditional dyes to create a more textured look.
Please understand that slight unevenness in the fabric, neps, weaving defects, and color unevenness are part of the product's character.

For my body type (173cm tall and 64kg), size 3 (L) is just the right size.
It's a simple item, so it goes well with any pants, such as denim or chinos, and you can enjoy a variety of coordinations.
I think it's useful to have one of these even if you're not a fan of the American casual design that is typical of UES.
